Our Team
Mike Willmore, President
My wife, Sue, and I relocated to Florida from Stafford, VA in May 2021, moving into VDS in October 2021. Our hometown is Granite City, IL. Other places we’ve lived include Collinsville, IL; Dumas, TX and Hurricane (no joke), WV.
Sue and I have two sons, one (Austin) and his wife live in Riverview; the other son (Brayden) lives in Dallas, TX.
I graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Accounting. My 38 year career was in the Oil and Gas industry in the Accounting and Supply Chain.
My volunteer history includes several years of scouting, including Cub Scout Tiger Cub, Cub Scout and Webelos leader. This evolved into leadership roles in Boy Scouts.
I’ve also coached youth baseball for T-Ball, Little League, Junior and Senior League. Church participation includes Sunday School teacher and leadership of a team that set up for services for a plant church in WV.
My hobbies include golf, reading and various “honey-do’s”.
Sue and I are enjoying our time here at VDS and look forward to working with residents in supporting the Wimauma community.

Kathryn Menadier - Vice President
I am a native Floridian, moving from Jacksonville, FL to the Tampa Bay area in 1984. I left Florida for just one year to attend Appalachian State University, where I learned how to snow ski before returning to the sun, sand, swimming, boating, lifeguarding, coaching and eventually becoming a Paramedic and Registered Nurse. I also obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
My nursing career included cardiology, clinical administration, as well as clinical research. I retired in June 2025 from IQVIA Biotech as a Clinical Trial Manager ending my 40-year career in the medical field.
I was an active Officer of the Tampa International Heart Foundation founded in 2009. The groups' mission was to provide teaching and advanced cardiac care in developing countries. I held annual fundraisers to support this mission. Our volunteer trips included Haiti, Belize, Nicaragua and Honduras as well as India and the Republic of Georgia.
I moved to Valencia del Sol in April 2024 after my home in St. Petersburg flooded in Hurricane Idelia.
Joining The Robin Hoods of Valencia del Sol was the first activity I participated in. Knowing there are underserved people in southern Hillsborough County, I wanted to learn how and where I could help.
Assisting in or chairing the charity drives in our community is important to me. I have always been the person who is involved in projects and in work and life, and have never asked anyone to do something I wouldn’t do myself. I recognize it takes a village and appreciate the generosity of time and gifts from inside our community.

Jim Colitas, Treasurer
I have lived in the VDS community since December 2021 as a snowbird, and in the fall of the following year, we decided to make it our fulltime residence, from Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.
I graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Plant Science. Agriculture has been the primary focus of my career and began early. I worked as a landscaper and on a golf course through high school and college.
My first career job out of college was as an agronomist for the Farm Bureau, a farm advocacy organization. Later, I accepted a position with Bayer Agriculture where I held various positions from National Accounts manager to international product development manager.
I also owned a Landscape/Irrigation company and still own a farm in Pennsylvania which has Agra tourism – i.e., strawberries in the spring and pumpkins in the fall (along with a corn maze).
I have been blessed in many ways throughout my life and providing services to those who may need a little help from time to time is a great way to lend a helping hand.

Steve Weitzel, Banking Administrator
My lovely wife, Pam, and I have been married for 39 years and we moved to Valencia Del Sol from Atlanta in October, 2019.
I enjoyed a 30+ year career at The Coca-Cola Company which included about 17 years working in the Private Truck Operation and Logistics departments. The last 22 years at Coke were spent as a liaison between the business and IT communities serving in various user support roles for
manufacturing systems.
After retirement, I volunteered as co-treasurer for St. Vincent De Paul Thrift store and at the churches I attended in suburban Atlanta and Tampa areas.
For seven years I served as a volunteer driver for The American Cancer Society providing transportation for cancer patients to and from treatment locations.
Being able to contribute my time to the various causes supported by The Robin Hoods of VDS is humbling, inspiring and fulfilling.
I encourage all residents of Valencia Del Sol to consider becoming members of this great humanitarian organization. Help us to pay it forward.

Sue Wentzell - Secretary & Communications Manager
Volunteering—and working with volunteers--has been a way of life for me since I graduated from college. As a U.S. Air Force Public Affairs Officer, I wandered around the country (and world!) interacting with people focused on making their communities a better place. In my off time, I volunteered as a Rotarian, in local Chamber of Commerce Leadership programs, and in others.
After serving in uniform for nearly 30 years, I retired from the military in 2003 (at the rank of Colonel). It was then that we (and our three young kiddos!) moved to Riverview and I accepted a position as a Communication Manager for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (Florida & Caribbean territories). For the next 12 years, I had the privilege of working with organizations and people whose sole focus was improving the lives of Veterans, a cause still near and dear to my heart.
During this time, I enjoyed being a part of the Riverview Women’s Club, serving as a Board member for several years. Then, after retiring for the second time, in December 2023, husband John (also a retired USAF Officer) and I made Valencia Del Sol our final home.
I love being a part of The Robin Hoods of VDS and their mission of making the local community a better place for all to live and thrive.

Tony Lesko, Co-Founder & Past President
My wife, Cheryl and I, have been residents of VDS since July of 2019 and we have seen a lot of growth not only of our community, but also in The Robin Hoods.
My professional background has been in the motion control industry. Positions I have held include production planning, engineering services supervision, plant manager, customer service specialist for strategic accounts, and quality processes engineering.
Upon leaving the motion control industry, I spent the remainder of my career as sole proprietor of my home improvement company, retiring in 2018.
What draws me to The Robin Hoods is not only being able to help others and give back to our local community, but also encouraging our neighbors in VDS to participate as well. I am constantly amazed at how generous our community is.
We encourage you to attend one of our meetings to learn what we do and to join our band of merry men and women.

Cheryl Lesko, Co-Founder & Volunteer
Just as my husband, Tony, said, we have been residents of VDS since July 2019, and WOW! how the community has grown!
I’ve worked throughout my career mainly as an administrative assistant for various large and small companies and am currently working at the University of South Florida in the Conflict Resolution department.
It has been an honor to have participated, in one way or another, with each and every drive and event the Robin Hoods have had throughout the years. We’ve had so much fun being part of the club since its inception and working together with this group of Merry Men and Women as we help to bring smiles to the faces of all the families we have touched with the VDS community’s generosity.
I look forward to many more years of involvement as The Robin Hoods continue to grow and touch lives.
