Welcome to 2025!  

 

With the new year comes new leadership for the Robin Hoods.  As of January 14th, I stepped into the role of President of the Robin Hoods of VDS.  

 

I have some big shoes to fill as Tony Lesko has moved to the Secretary role after leading the Robin Hoods since 2021.  

 

Under Tony’s leadership, the Robin Hoods has grown to support five charity drives benefitting the local communities.  We thank Tony for his service and leadership over the past several years.  

 

The Robin Hoods’ leadership team, in consultation with the members of the Robin Hoods club, is working to investigate additional charitable causes in the immediate area, including Wimauma, Sun City Center, Apollo Beach, Ruskin, Riverview, etc. that we might support.

We are also looking for ways to enhance some of the existing projects, most notably the Turkey Trot 5K fundraiser.  More to come on that in the coming months.  

 

We live in a very generous community.  Thanks to you, we have provided needed support to several local organizations, including the Mary and Martha House, The Lord’s Lighthouse, Wimauma Elementary and Reddick Elementary.
