THANK YOU for your generosity!
On April 14th, we presented a check for $1,780 and delivered 1,562 school supplies plus 448 socks and underwear items to Wimauma Elementary School, where 90 percent of students quality for free or reduced cost lunches.

Karen Fletcher, Wimauma Elementary School principal, was overjoyed with our donations and thanked us for our continued support.

RECAP: School Supply Drive - April 1-20th - 2024
This year’s School Supply Drive benefits Wimauma Elementary School where 90% of its 569 students quality for free or reduced lunches.
School Supply items requested: composition books, folders, 2-ring binders, spiral notebooks, #2 pencils, erasers, sharpeners, Crayola crayons, scissors, glue sticks, highlighters.
Other needed items: new shoes, socks, hoodies and undies (children ages 5-10).
Place items in the box in the clubhouse lobby.
Cash donations also needed! All cash donations will be used to purchase school uniforms and shoes. Donate securely on-line at www.robinhoodsvds.com.

Recap: School Supply Drive - 2023
The Robin Hoods of VDS 2023 School Supply Drive was a great success, thanks to the generosity of the Valencia Del Sol Community.
​
VDS residents were asked to donate new school supplies and shoes, socks and underwear for boys and girls ages 5 to 12. Monetary donations were used to fund school uniforms and some basic clothing items previously mentioned.
​
The campaign was chaired by VDS resident Judy Walker and committee members Eleanor Morel and Karen Hinderer. It benefitted the children of Wimauma Elementary School.
