Message from the President: Building On The Momentum

As we step into a new year together, I want to share how deeply honored I am to continue serving as President of the Robin Hoods of VDS, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Valencia Del Sol is special—not just because of the beautiful place we call home, but because of the people who bring it to life every day and their generosity. 

Our mission has always been simple: to enhance the quality of life for our neighbors in the surrounding communities, particularly Wimauma.  That means listening closely, planning responsibly, and making decisions that reflect the values we share—connection, transparency, and helping our neighbors. 

What We Accomplished Together in 2025

Over the past year, we’ve made a meaningful impact outside our complex with a successful School Supply Drive, Food Drive, Costume Jewelry Drive, a ‘scholarship’ program with another local charity, Turkey Trot 5K, and the most successful Christmas Toy Drive in the club’s history.

What’s Ahead in 2026

This year gives us the opportunity to build on the momentum of the past year. In the coming months, we’ll focus on:

• Enhancing accessibility and inclusivity in our programs

• Increasing volunteer opportunities for those who want to give back

• Continuing to steward our resources responsibly and transparently

• Exploring new initiatives that further support others in the Southshore area of Hillsborough County.
